ONE ARRANGED MURDER
Introduction:
This book is launched with high expectation and there social media are promoting this book. After a span of two chetan bhagat has come back to play. There were interview and trailer are conducted in the you tube. Recent survey conducted by the American journalism stated that chetan bhagat novels are sold highest among any indian author in the country. But on the other hand there are too many criticism against his writing. There are many you tuber reviewer trashed his book as they used his name to promote their in the ranking, but they forget only 5% of the critics are intellectual, remaining 95% are the general audiences. They cant digest the fact chetan bhagat still recognized as the best selling author and he write books for the mass not for the 5% critics.
Plot: Keshav and saurabh are the leading character in the book. Keshav is heat broken and find girl through tinder app, and he not willing to take consider it as long lasting relationship. He merely satisfy his physical needs( To know the reason , one has to study the girl in the room 405). I really enjoyed the author bring out the bromance between keshav and saurabh. Saurabh through matrimony get introduced to prerna, who is an entrepreneur of the food delivery company, Eato. Author is famous for his strong female characterization, all the female character in the book portrayed as strong women. With the permission of the both family they fixed the marriage, but prerna postpone the date to the career development, and she also needs time to get know more about saurabh, which is also accepted by the groom family.
In mean time they used to chat and speak in the night for a long time that really caused strain in the relationship between the keshav and saurabh. So saurabh decided to move of the room which was shared with keshav, who happen to be his coworker, room mate, co-employee and best friend. Keshav like to patch up with saurabh, but surabh has no interest in it as keshav body shamed both prerna and saurabh in a friendly banter, but his worked did not end well with saurabh.The reader who read the book his previous can understand more about their friendsip.
One day, special occasion, saurabh rushed to prerna house, as she is fasting for her future husband which was culture in her community. He texting to her on his way to her home. She informed him that she is waiting the terrace for his arrival so she can end her fasting and have food both of them. He reached her home at 7 pm. Through back door saurabh reached the terrace, but to his surprise , she was not there. There are people chattering in the road which he over hear and then he entered the house. His arrival in to house caught by ramesh malhotra who iS father of prerna dragged him to road. Saurabh peered into crowd and to see a body lying motionless and the blood are scattered in the ground. His heart beat increased. His whole world stopped when he see the face of the body. Prerna Dead. Love of his life was dead. Author written in the sense, the reader should feel sorry for the saurabh, and he succeed in bringing tears in the eyes of the reader. Rest of the book completely in the context of the sherlock holmes and watson kind of the detective to unravel the murder mystery.
I really enjoyed the book.
