Review: Irumbu thirai director has come up with another movie as his previous flim deal with mobile banking transaction and this time against the education system. The movie open with younger version of siva karthikeyan being an ardent of sakthiman.siva karthikeyan as sakthi provide fake certificate to the failed student, for which he justify his reason in the flashback scene.Siva karthikeyan has both hits and flop in his career.After his perious flim mr.local thrashed by both critics and general audience , he is choosing the script aptly. He has been acting for 6 year from beach to hero, his acting graph is improved a lot.In this flim he has done comendable job and acted in subtle way, which show his maturity.
Arjun played as an extended cameo in his movie.In the director's previous film , he played as an antagonist but in this movie, he did the supporting role. His role similar to alfred of batman series, except he got a intensive flashback. Mover over this film is next version of the gentleman, in the gentleman deal with common man against the corrupted education system whereas in this film hero common man fight corporate, which involve in intelligence discrimination.
Kalyani priyadharshini debutant in tamil industry has got limited screen space and has not much to perform in this action oriented flick.Hope there is some other director utilize her potential in the future. Abey deol played as corporate evil man should be appriciated for his effort to give proper lipsink and his role remainds siddarth abhimanyu of thani oruvan.There are some scene where his effort outperform some of the heroine in the tamil industry.Robo shankar has no scope for performances and his one liner fail evoke humour among the audiences.
Special kudo to the dialogue writer , some of the dialogue like legacy can be dead not their ideology .Cinematography is good and action scene in park is captured so well and it is a delight for eye's. First time Yuvan shankar raja composed tuned for siva karthikeyan and his bgm is the soul of the movie.Movie is edited by ruben could have done better. Trailor of the movie is so much intriguing but it has failed in the execution part.
Verdict: This action thriller genre has some special moment and is not throught the flim especially in this climax where the protagonist preach the audience about the education might put you in sleep mode.Apart from few scenes, this is one time watchable.Worth for your time.
