As the government advised complete lock down in the pandemic period, I safely stayed inside home most of the time. To beat my boredom I fondly searched for this movie “and there were none “.This movie is unexpectedly available in the youtube platform in the digital format. This movie is loosely adapted from the book with the same name written by the renowned author Agartha Christina . There are so many version of this book available in the market with high proficiency in vocabulary, so only I prefer to avoid it.

Synopsis : Ten stranger arrived by boat to isolated indian island mansion owned by Mr.owen. Over the course of events each one in the mansion is murdered mysteriously in a strange way . This movie is gripping, intriguing, and deeply engaging .
PLOT : Richard Hayden(Roger) the butler along with his wife Queenie Leonard greeted the visitor arrived and help them to accommodate fondly in the manor. Once they returned to the dinning table, berry kindly with a story introduced him as retired judge and break the ice. Roger cheerfully effused the visitor about Mr.owen would be available at 9 pm. Roger was dictated sternly by the owner to play the gramma record, when every one available at the dinner table . Once it is switch on the voice from the player introduced itself as Mr. Owen and accused every one in the mansion of the crime committed and instructed justice will be served accordingly .WAAAIT, just 10 minutes this movie jump into story waiting in no time ,it has really got my attention.
Once the voice note is over apparently everyone shivered in fear for their life. Mrs Roger madly screamed and shrieked to leave house immediately. I think the movie getting in to gloomy , and suspenseful. when everyone seriously shuddered in terror, nickey confessed his crime and ironically proposed the toast to everyone, gulped the drink. Suddenly after few moments, Nickey stumbled and collapsed down . Immediately Doctor walter hutson check his pulse and declared him as dead which caused calamitous among them. When everyone rambled, berry doubtfully quivered about their relationship with Mr.Owen. Unfortunately none of them had seen the Mr. Owen. When every one frightened about their stay in mansion, berry fitzgerald inquistively chatted Mr. Owen is not outside and hinted his presence among them. After feeling wearily, everyone returned to their respective rooms. But Detective William played by Rowland young suspicious about Lombard( Louis hayward) for Mr. Owen, as he was carried a revolver with him. In the late night Roger appread whimpered in the door step of the Walter hutson pleased him to treat his wife. After infected the vaccines and doctor returned back to him room.
In the next morning, Mrs.roger squealed over his dead wife. She was dead due to overdose of Medicine. Everyone suspicious about the doctors as Mr. Owen because of his impolite behaviour. Mr.general accused of sending his wife’s lover to jail, remains listless for most of the time in the manor .Even though Roger is beaten over the death of his wife , he still prepared food to the guest. When general place remains empty for the dinner, lombard and others ushered upstairs in to his room. Really !!! Mr.owen stabbing old person with Knife, he would had a natural death over his mental instability.
Berry fitzgerald coyly thought Roger would had killed the general with the kitchen knife. So all the house members frantically avoid the food and beverage served to them by the Roger. Roger poorly argued his innocence and reiterated about his wife death. Arrogantly , the other members are not ready to acknowledge his validation. Rudely he blurted and swallowed the food prepared for them. He prattled over the obstinated state of the people and peered into cottage gleefully. In the next morning, when detective and others showed in the cottage , Roger body found cruelly chopped with axe . I know he would be dead, in many movies that person is dead. So Its up to the rest of the members in the mansion to identify Mr. Owen.

Superb !unbelievable twist in the end . Rarely, quality flim is like this is the reason to transcend through the years and considered one of the all time mystery movie of the decade.
